the plus of reading books | Anneke

Today I reached page 303 of the book 'A Casual Vacancy'. This is the last book I need to finish before Thursday. I've read three other books as well; Jamaica Inn, Hard times and Brick Lane.  With each book I write down words I don't know yet and look up the significance. I store these words in a notebook and repeat them ones in a while. As a result, my vocabulary improves bit by bit. Not only by reading them down and reprise them, but also by recognizing the words later on in the book or in another book.

Intermittently: occasionally, again

After I finished "A Casual Vacancy', I am going to start reading the Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children book series. I'm truly looking forward to this, because I’ve heard the books are very well written and exciting.
