A Croissant story part 1 | Anneke

Out of the sudden on a Thursday evening I received a whatsapp containing the message that I was booked for superbike France! Yay me! I was so excited, because these chances aren't comparable with the amount of drops in a pour down.

So, Friday we were on our way to our lovely France in a jarring camper fully packed with luggage, my boss and four other girls. It was a jolly and a delicious ride (because there was loads of food on board and I had good company). In 9 lengthy hours we managed to get to the F1 hotel. With messed up hair and with a face like a dead goat I went there for a shower, regretting that I hadn't brought my pink flip flops. Because you see, not all showers are as clean as mine at home. Even before pushing the shower stud I a managed to drop my clean knickers on the wet and dirty, overwhelmed with other human hair and bacterial floor. Not very jippy ayay if I may say. Even though, realizing that I was in Nevers cheered me up. After showering I stumbled back to the camper where I crawled into my bed (upper bed of a bunk bed) with my sleepy head and fell asleep...tomorrow I would visit Magny-Cours.

To be continued....
